Patience Hurst
Name: Patience Amelia Hurst

Allegiance and why: To her family and to the aristocracy because she’s a part of it and she trusts daddy is always right on what he says.
Social Status and/or Occupation: The upper-class daughter of the Hurst’s. She has no official occupation but her desire is to be the wife of a gentleman and run his household.
Brief physical description of your character: Patience looks very much like her mother with an oval face, fair creamy skin and long black hair. She bares little resemblance to her older brother or father, who in her opinion look very much alike. Patience has never worn anything out of season. In fact she is a dedicated follower of courtly fashions. She prefers lighter colours as she thinks they compliment her complexion and would not want to look like a forward or scarlet woman.
Brief description of your characters history, including family: Patience is the only daughter of Lord and Lady Hurst. She adores her father and has always been his little girl. She is close to her mother as well, wishing to take after her in marrying well and making herself head of a rich and well-to-do household. Patience is rather spoilt and vapid. She believes in love at first sight and is desperate to get married. Some of her friends are already engaged, although to far inferior men than Patience would ever dream of tying herself too, and she simply can’t stand the thought of being the last in her social circle to marry.
Outside of these rather selfish exploits Patience is an accomplished musician especially at Harp and Piano. She enjoys painting but only watercolors and is not terribly good at it. She has taken up needlepoint but only as an after dinner accomplishment to help her settle to sleep. She cannot sing, although she likes to think she can and often attempts to accompany herself on the Piano. She is quite close to her brothers, although she considers Charles a little silly with his plays, and wishes Joseph would take up some outdoor activates instead of being so serious all the time. She rather dotes on Crispin as he is the youngest and she can baby him.
One or two plots which you would like to play out in the community: Patience falling in love, or at least deep-lust, with a young man and getting herself in the family way.
